The book banks itself on the life of a seventeen year old boy who in a quest to search for his true love decided to fall in love with a 15-year-old girl. At that time, their love was so deep that along their tale of romance, they happen to meet various huddles some of which were so fatal.

Later in their primal periods of love, Agnes, the most beautiful nymphet of the village becomes pregnant at 16 years of age. Her parents in dear disappointment become so angry. Soon, in great anguish, they find out that a one man David was the root cause of the pregnancy. In spite of the fact that he was the father of the yet to be born baby, the parents decide to seek for immediate justice by imprisoning David.

However, Agnes in a bid to fight for her soul-mate and yet to be husband tries to stop them but fails. Also, Agnes’ burning “amour” makes her to starve herself as way to force her parents to release David from jail. In addition she warns that she’ll runway from home if they don’t let David go free. Meanwhile David accepts to take full responsibility of everything. A few days later, David is discharged from prison .He is however cautioned never to get close to Agnes again. A month later, the duo decides to run way from their families.

Unfortunately, the parents of Agnes later discover that the two had planned to disappear from the villages’ vicinity. Immediately, they intercept the two before they get away. Then, we later find out that David is re-imprisoned. This time around it felt like he would not get out of prison. After one day, Agnes faints due to a seizure and then she is taken to the hospital. While at the hospital, Agnes regains consciousness and implores her parents to release David .at the end the David and Agnes finally are given a chance to live together life.
